IT MOVES (and we have money now)

Our robot now has remote control capability. Unfortunately I can't show a video of it with the wheels on but I can without (forgot to record).


Our bid for more money from the school has been successful, I believe we can now be safely considered the official MCS team for Piwars 2024.

We also now have a front attachment holder (dovetail slot) to hold IR sensors, cameras etc.

Over Christmas break we will be working on computer vision for the autonomous tasks, building test mazes etc. I'll hope to get back within the next week about CV progress (haven't had time before)


For Zombie Apocalypse, we have a gun, and we have a basic mechanism: a solenoid attached to the side of the gun will pull an attached nail or some horizontal thing to pull the trigger, timed by some Python code. I don't have pictures unfortunately, but we are working on code for that as well.
