So. Though we haven't been posting recently, we have been working hard, and have made a number of changes.
Firstly, Lintian has completed Lava Palava, using our infrared sensor bracket. Code has been written on to the Pi, activated by SSH ing into the robot and turning on Lava using a laptop.
Secondly, we have changed the battery, Previously, the battery was a 3s LiPo 650mAh battery. I calculated this would last around 10 mins, which is unacceptable. We have replaced it with a chonkier 16.5V 4.5Ah battery which should last much longer. I also soldered the power connections- fuse, switch, etc. When you have a battery that can dump 300 amps, a fuse can be quite important apparently.
Thirdly, and from the clickbait title, we have completely redesgned the body, and built sides and a detachable roof. This has been painted red, with burned highlights. Disastrous indeed.
Fourthly? Fourth? idk really, we have designed, soldered and glued the firing circuit to our Nerf gun, for use in zombie apocalypse.
